Where is the Light? - 22/11/19 - Ben Turner

This is truly a crooked and perverse generation. A generation that knows no limits to sin, teaches its children to disobey God, and even the systems, structures and culture that rule our every day lives encourage are increasingly resistant to God. This is the world according to man, a world made in the image of man. The darkness is truly dark indeed. But there is of course, hope. What is Truth? 17-11-19

The definition of truth is something that is fact, perfect and complete. Something certain that we can rely on. This is very different to the definition of religion which is man-made faith, i.e. it's made up. Jesus said that "if you abide in my word, you are My disciples indeed. God cannot hear our prayers if we have turned away from Him except the prayer of repentance, which is telling God that we turn away from our ways and will seek God's ways. God has a purpose for everyone and everything

Purpose: the reason for which anything is done. God had a purpose for creating us. How many of us are fulfilling that purpose? God tells us that there is a time for everything we need to do in our lives. We can see how God has given us this knowledge to understand that there are seasons for everything in life.
